Lightning Box Partners with Ruby Seven Studios For U.S Expansion

Online casino game studio Lightning Box, based out of Sydney, Australia, closed a content deal with social casino company Ruby Seven Studios that will expand Lightning Box’s reach into the North American market.

According to the terms of the deal, Lightning Box will be supplying some of its best-performing games to Ruby Seven, which is based in Reno, Nevada. Ruby Seven handles a multi-brand portfolio that is marketed to several US states.

Three of Lightning Box’s most popular slots—Silver Lioness 4x, Chicken Fox and Spartan Fire are scheduled to go live on Ruby Seven’s network by the end of the third quarter this year. Some Ruby Seven casinos that will offer both games soon are Lucky North Casino, TropWorld Casino, and Best Bet Casino.

Lightning Box’s Current Deals in North America

Lightning Box was started in 2014 by long-time game developers Peter Causley and David Little, who had previously worked at Aristocrat and IGT. Its games are currently available via High5Casino, SG Digital, Microgaming, and many other providers.

Lightning Box is expected to significantly increase their foothold on the U.S market due to their partnership with Ruby Seven, in addition to a slew of deals the Australian company has signed within the North American region.

In November of 2019, Lightning Box agreed to a deal with Loto Quebec to supply some of its slots to the Canadian company. Lightning Box also partnered with the British Columbia Lottery Operation in May 2020 to bolster the lottery giant’s game offerings. As of now, 19 games from Lightning Box’s real money game library are already available in New Jersey.

Lightning Box Looking to Expand U.S Presence

Ruby Seven CEO Michael Carpenter praised the new partnership, saying that he has long believed in the quality of Lightning Box’s games. Carpenter expressed his utmost enthusiasm at finally being able to offer Lightning Box games across their casino partner websites and apps.

Lightning Box co-founder and CEO Peter Causley noted that he had met Carpenter six years ago, and it was great that the two companies could finally partner and work together. Causley also said that the two games they plan to debut with Ruby Seven in 2020 is expected to get the same attention and praise their previous North American offerings have gotten.

Causley confirmed that Lightning Box plans to expand the range of its offerings in the US market in the coming months.
