The best way to do this is by selling the company. Icahn thinks that Caesars needs new management to fulfill its maximum potential and wants to nominate a new slate of directors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has also made it clear that he wants to get rid of the current CEO <strong>Mark Frissora<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frissora has been leading the company since 2015 and has been the guiding light of the company through its bankruptcy. He was supposed to leave his role on February 8 of this year but this has been pushed back to the end of April. Icahn thinks that Frissora\u2019s April departure should be confirmed and that new blood should be added to the company after having a discussion with the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CNBC Television<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7ZBP02-f920?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<p>Caesars is still recovering from its $18 billion bankruptcy which it exited in late 2017. Since, then two companies have approached the company for purchasing its common shares. In late 2018, <strong>Golden Nugget LLC<\/strong> approached the company with an offer of getting all of Golden Nugget&#8217;s assets in exchange for shares in the company. Eldorado Resorts Inc. also made a similar proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Caesars Yet To Respond To Icahn<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No comment has been heard from Caesars management since the filing but current stock reports show that its stock values are up 42 percent for this year. However, for the past 12 months, stock values are down 27 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for a potential buyer, analysts can only point to MGM Resorts International. However, acquiring all of Caesars&#8217; assets will require a lot of investment. MGM might not be interested as this point as the company is giving priority to other projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysts are also looking toward Icahn&#8217;s history with the gaming sector. He recently sold his Tropicana Entertainment casino company for $1.85 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, <strong>Alex Bumazhny<\/strong>, a gambling analyst with Fitch Ratings, said <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10casinowebsites.net\/news\/mgm-resorts-and-caesars-entertainment-discussing-potential-merger\/\">news breaks of a merger<\/a> and acquisition transaction, the target&#8217;s stock will gravitate towards the premium price being offered by the acquirer.
