This according to Rasche, will help provide a \u201c<em>controlled system<\/em>\u201d to protect consumers from black market risks. Rasche said the Gl\u00fcNeuRStv regime must be promptly evaluated and changes must be made so it can effectively deliver on its goals. <\/p>\n<h2>Online Slots Tax Revenue on the Decline <\/h2>\n<p>DOCV President <strong>Dr. Dirk Quermann<\/strong> echoed Rasche\u2019s concerns, saying stringent measures introduced under the Interstate Gambling Treaty, such as the \u20ac1 maximum stake limit for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10casinowebsites.net\/slots\">online slots<\/a>, have resulted in a continuous decline in tax volume. In its assessment, the DOCV found that tax revenue from online slots had dropped from \u20ac40 million to \u20ac20 million per month since 2021 when the maximum stake limit began to take effect. <\/p>\n<p>Quermann called on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10casinowebsites.net\/news\/ggl-meets-state-coordinators-for-insights-in-gambling-harm-prevention\/\">Germany\u2019s gambling regulator Gluecksspiel<\/a> (GGL) to correct the limitations, saying it is authorized to do so even without intervention by the German parliament, the Bundestag. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, DSWV President <strong>Mathias Dahms<\/strong> touched on the ongoing debate regarding betting advertising, saying he remains hopeful that stakeholders can find common ground on planned changes to Germany\u2019s gambling advertising rules. <\/p>\n<p>The GGL recently opened its tender for an academic institution that will be tasked to conduct a federal study on gambling advertising.
