NetEnt Officially Launches New Aggregator Platform Called NetEnt Connect

NetEnt recently announced that it will be focusing on securing new content and expanding its operator network for its new platform for content aggregation called NetEnt Connect.

The new platform has gone through a successful beta launch and NetEnt will now look to quickly expand its new platform.

NetEnt Connect’s soft launch was held in early December and the company confirmed that the following weeks would be valuable in determining the platform’s official launch.

Since then, NetEnt has released a statement through its official website that publicised the integration of more operators into NetEnt Connect.

The Swedish online gambling firm’s aggregation platform is linked to Casino Room, an online gambling brand, which is managed by the Ellmount Group, who holds operating licenses in Sweden and Malta. Other notable partners include the brands Betano operating primarily in Germany and Stoiximan operating primarily in Greece.

NetEnt’s recent purchase of the online gambling firm Red Tiger in late 2019 was undertaken to shore up the firm’s lagging performance in the last few years due to a number of challenges based on widespread regulatory changes in important markets, as well as the fiercer competition it faced in the B2B market.

The consolidation of Red Tiger has greatly contributed to the expansion of NetEnt Connect’s suite of games. Though the soft launch of NetEnt Connect already included some Red Tiger games, today the entire 99-game library which includes slots as well as Daily Timed Jackpots is now accessible on the platform alongside original NetEnt content.

NetEnt Connect – Key Part of NetEnt’s Future

Henrik Fagerlund, NetEnt Malta’s Managing Director and Chief Product Officer said it was the priority of the firm to integrate the Red Tiger games quickly into their offerings to longtime customers, which has led to its success. Fagerlund touted the success as evidence that the firm is working diligently to ensure that the vast potential of NetEnt Connect is rolled out to the benefit of all its partners.

Fagerlund also affirmed that the aggregation network will be a key component of NetEnt’s growth plans in the future. Further plans to integrate slot games and other content produced by third-party suppliers are also underway. Rob Fell, NetEnt Connect Director, identified the expansion of their content portfolio as an essential part of the platform’s strategy. NetEnt Connect’s official launch is scheduled to be carried out one market at a time.
