Playtech and GVC Holdings

Playtech’s partnership with GVC is bringing the gaming company’s product portfolio to key markets including Spain, Italy, Georgia, and the UK. Playtech will offer its popular online casino offerings to a number of top iGaming brands that fall under the GVC umbrella.

GVC and Playtech entered into a long-term agreement earlier this year which has allowed Playtech to roll out its content to multiple GVC brands including partypoker, bwin, Crystalbet, Sportingbet, Foxy Casino, Foxy Bingo, and PartyCasino.

Playtech has now largely expanded its gaming eco-system across all of GVC’s UK brands, with bwin and Sportingbet launching an exclusive casino tab, although it had already been presented before on the Ladbrokes and Coral brands.

With this partnership, GVC’s customers will now be provided with seamless access to Playtech’s portfolio of over 600 games which include some of the most popular games in the industry.  among them leading games like its Age of the Gods series, the American Dad 40-line slot, smash hit Gladiator: Road to Rome, and a slate of games based on the iconic Superman and Justice League franchise.

Playtech and GVC’s collaboration also reaches regulated markets in Belgium and Greece, where GVC possesses casino licenses for its lucrative Vistabet and Sportingbet brands, In Brazil, Playtech has tapped leading brand Betboo to capitalize more on the fast-growing Latin America market.

Expect Bigger Expansion Plans

Playtech COO Shimon Akad has said the aggressive roll outs are in line with the company’s desire to build a bigger presence in key developing markets around the world. He underscored that GVC’s drive to introduce their products and services to customers across its market-leading portfolio is a testament to the strength of what they hope will turn out to be a longstanding partnership between the two firms.

GVC’s Co-COO Shay Segev noted that Playtech’s content has proven hugely popular among their platforms’ clientele, and they’re excited to launch more Playtech content across key markets in the next few months.

The online gambling industry is highly competitive and Playtech is widely recognized as one of the leaders in the industry. The company has been around since 1999 and has a reputation for developing innovative casino and poker software, cool casino games and online bingo games. Playtech employs more than 5,800 personnel across 17 countries and trades on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.
