Proposed Wynn Resorts Casino CotaiWynn Resorts invested more than $4 billion to develop its Wynn Palace resort in Macau. This multi-billion dollar resort is located on the Cotai Strip, which has become home to some of the latest and most popular casinos in Macau.

The Wynn Palace finally opened on August 22, 2016 and is opened 24/7 to the public. The casino floor has a total of 1,145 electronic gaming machines and a total of 350 table games.

The Wynn Palace covers more than 450,000 square meters and has a number of non-gaming attractions such as its 8 acre performance lake, an air conditioned sky cab, gondolas and a luxury hotel that has 1,700 rooms. Sands Parisian Macau

Proposed Sands Parisian MacaoThe Las Vegas Sands Corp invested more than $3 billion to develop its Sands Parisian casino which is located on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The casino opened its doors to the public on September 13, 2016.

The Sands Parisian has a casino floor that covers more than 135,000 square feet and a convention center that has around 55,972 square feet. There are a total of 2,500 electronic gaming machines and 400 table games available at the casino.

The Sands Parisian also invested heavily to develop a number of non-gaming attractions in order to bring in a new set of customers to its premises.

Some of the attractions of the newly opened Sands Parisian include a mini-replica of the Eiffel Tower, Aqua World and the Qube Kingdom. The property also has a luxury hotel that has close to 3,000 hotel rooms, a number of upscale restaurants serving a variety of cuisines and a luxury spa.

Okada Manila

Proposed Okada ManilaJapanese billionaire Kazuo Okada invested heavily into Tiger Resort Leisure And Entertainment Incorporated along with his set of partners to develop the Okada Manila mega-casino resort in the Entertainment district of Manila. The entertainment district is a 3 square mile area that is home to some of the biggest casinos in Manila. The Okada Manila was scheduled to open on November 15, 2016 but has now been delayed.

The resort is being developed in phases across 53.25 acres and will have a casino floor covering 441,300 square feet with 3,000 electronic gaming machines and 500 table games. There will also be a two luxury hotel towers that have close 1,000 hotel rooms. There are a number of non-gaming attractions which include the biggest indoor beach club in Asia and a $30 million dancing water fountain.

MGM National Harbor

Proposed MGM National HarborMGM Resorts is expected to open its $1.4 billion MGM National Harbor casino in Prince George’s county, Maryland on December 8, 2016 in time for the holiday season.

The MGM National Harbor casino has a gaming floor that covers 135,000 square feet and a convention center covering 35,000 square feet. The casino will have a total of 3,600 electronic gaming machine and 150 table games.

The facility which is situated on 23 acres of land also has a 24 storey luxury hotel with 300 rooms, a special entertainment theatre that has seating capacity for 3,000 and a special two storey glass atrium which has a horticultural showcase that features artwork made out of 70,000 flowers.

Grand Villa Edmonton

Proposed Grand Villa Casino EdmontonWhile the Grand Villa Edmonton in Alberta, Canada is nowhere as expensive or as massive as some of the above casinos, this has been a nice addition to Alberta’s gambling scene.

Gateway Casinos And Entertainment Limited invested $32 million to develop this casino which opened to the public on September 7, 2016.

The casino has a gaming floor that covers 60,000 square feet and a convention center covering 24,000 square feet. There are a total of 600 electronic gaming machine and 24 table games at the casino.

Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino

Proposed Lucky Dragon Hotel & CasinoThe Las Vegas Economic Impact Regional Center (LVEIRC) invested nearly $373 million to open this property which is located next to the Allure, Las Vegas towards the north end of the Strip.

The property covers 3 acres and has a casino floor that is spread across 27,500 square feet featuring 300 electronic gaming machines and 37 table games.

The casino is expected to open to the public on December 3, 2016. The casino has an Asian theme to it and features a hotel with 300 rooms.
